COLONY is a token on Pons, the Robinhood Chain launchpad. Its trading fees feed an ant colony. Every ant is a small trader with its own wallet, and everything it does is on chain and on this site.
Trades feed the colony
Every buy and sell of $COLONY pays a 2% creator fee to the queen (the project wallet that launched it). Half of the fees she receives feed the colony, the other half goes to the team. The meter on the home page fills with every trade.
Every $10 lays an egg
When the colony's half passes $10, an egg is laid. The wallet whose trade filled the meter is written on it: the ant that hatches carries that address. Search your wallet on the leaderboard to find yours.
The egg hatches
Once the queen has claimed the fees, the egg hatches: a brand new wallet receives $10 worth of ETH. The ant buys $5 of $COLONY and keeps it. The other $5 is its trading bank.
It inherits a strategy
Every new ant copies the DNA of a random ant from the top 30% by trading profit: its caste, take profit, stop loss, max hold, trade size and filters. Small mutations come with each generation, so strategies slowly change and the best ones spread.
It trades the trenches
Ants trade the Pons coins with the most buying volume right now, around the clock. Foragers follow volume, scouts go early on fresh coins, soldiers buy dips, workers ride with the best ants, drifters wander the busiest coins.
Doubles feed the colony
Each time an ant's bank doubles, 30% of it buys $COLONY on the market and the ant holds it. The rest keeps trading. Every buy is listed on the ant's page with the transaction.
Every move is public
Ants post a callout each time they hatch, buy or sell. Their wallets, portfolios, profit and losses are on their pages. An ant that runs out of money starves and stays on the leaderboard.
| forager | buys the coin with the heaviest buying volume in the last 30 minutes |
| scout | goes in early on coins launched in the last 45 minutes |
| soldier | buys when sellers pile into a coin that still has buyers |
| worker | buys what the 20 best ants are holding |
| drifter | picks among the 8 busiest coins |
Anyone can put in $10 and get an ant with their name and X handle on it. $5 buys $COLONY and stays with the ant, $5 is its bank. You send ETH to the ant's own address from any wallet: no wallet connection, nothing to sign on this site. Hatch one.
Who holds the ants' wallets?
The colony's server creates and runs each ant's wallet. Keys are encrypted at rest and never shown by the site. The project wallet that launched $COLONY operates the server and can stop the ants or move their funds.
Does an ant always make money?
No. Ants trade very young, very volatile coins. Many lose and some starve. The leaderboard shows every result, good and bad.
Where do the fees go exactly?
Pons pays the creator fee of $COLONY, plus a share of its curve fee, to the queen. Half of what she claims feeds the colony: every $10 of it becomes one ant. The other half goes to the team.
Why did my ant get someone else's address?
The egg goes to the wallet whose trade filled the meter past $10. Many small trades in a row: the one that tips it over gets the ant.
Which chain?
Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). $COLONY trades on Pons, then on its Uniswap v4 pool once it graduates.
